a and a town planning ltd is run by a husband and wife team who are both Chartered Town Planners and who both have significant and recent experience of working as Senior Area Planning Officers for local Councils dealing with all types of planning applications and appeals.

The Government has complicated the planning system to such an extent that it is necessary to use Chartered Town Planners to help you submit a wide range of planning applications as well as to deal with planning appeals and enforcement cases. We would offer you a comprehensive planning service for your development project whether it is a new housing or industrial scheme or an extension to your home. We understand the complex nature of the planning process and have recent first hand experience in the way in which Councils operate and political pressures and time constraints which Officers are under. This puts us in a unique position to submit your application and argue your case for you.

When working in Local Government we offered a helpful and proactive service to local residents and Architects and many of the contacts we established then have used our services since the company was established in January 2008 to help them submit planning applications and appeals. This gives us confidence that we provide a good service to our clients. Unfortunately many Councils do not offer a comprehensive pre-application service and do not communicate with applicants during the application process. That is why you should rely on us as Chartered Town Planners with recent experience in the local government role to help your project through the system.

We have bases in both the East and West Midlands ( Derby and Worcester) and primarily handle cases in these areas although we can cover a wider geographical area if necessary.

In addition we have access to a network of experienced planning consultants as well as specialists in enforcement, highways, landscape architecture, arboriculture and urban design.
