Case Studies
We set up the business in January 2008 and therefore many of our projects are currently ongoing. In addition to a number of successful outcomes some of which are detailed below, we are currently dealing with a variety of schemes including a soft play centre in Derby, new housing developments both in the countryside and urban area and an industrial development.Worcester
Our Clients wished to secure planning permission for significant scale extensions to a large detached dwelling on the outskirts of Worcester. Initially planning permission was refused but we managed to secure planning permission for part of the scheme and then used our knowledge of planning legislation to obtain a Certificate of Proposed Lawful Development establishing that the remainder of the works would be permitted development. This allowed our Clients to increase the size of their dwelling by 40%.
South Derbyshire
Following refusal of planning permission for a dwelling our Clients approached us to make a case to the Council and submit a revised planning application. We submitted a detailed Design and Access Statement and Policy Statement to overcome the previous reasons for refusal and were able to convince the Council to approve the resubmitted application.
Derby fringe
We managed to secure permission for a storage and distribution and retail use in a rural location.
South Derbyshire
Letters of objection we have prepared against housing and agricultural development have resulted in successful outcomes for our Clients. A detailed analysis of the issues, local context together with an in depth knowledge of national and local policies was key to gaining the most effective impact on the Council's decision making.
